On Saturday 8th April 2000 I went to The Playhouse Theatre, Cheltenham to see an amateur production of the musical play MACK & MABEL. The main reason for wanting to see this show was so that I could put into the correct context the Torvill & Dean Ice Dance routine.

I thought the performance was excellent and especially liked the singing of Mabel which was supurb. I also thought that the use of strobe lighting to convey the illusion of an old movie was very clever.
